“Generally this show is deserving of 5 stars but Mr. Dunbar is foolish for thinking swapping batteries is the same as battery depot station.
It will be a long time before we see any decent electric motorcycles with actual range and is likely why adoption has been slow for road going electric. It is also the reason a battery station is at least a decade away.
All that said electric in the dirt is awesome. I’ve been lucky enough to ride a smaller e-Mx bike from the French brand LMX that has an easy to swap battery that’s works well for the track. I see this as the “near future” of the electric bike category. This LMX 161 only weighed 105lbs and had all the torques.
Lance is right, Spurgeon is wrong.
Not to totally hurt Spurgeons feelings, I too am wondering when Honda will pull there head out of the sand and send the Hawk over the pond.
