Disappointing
I had the first part of ‘For women only’ appear in my feed for, ‘the waves.’ Given that the waves has never once discussed the huge issue of self identification of gender and the growing number of gender critical feminism, I was surprised to find they were directing us elsewhere, but listened to the episode with interest. I was disappointed, the bias was so obvious. The trans woman and her story was treated gently and without question, even when she kept throwing the word ‘terf’ around, but Janice Raymond was grilled extensively, after having had her name dragged through the mud in the first part of the podcast. I really hope the second part is better than this but seriously, check your bias.
