It’s decent … but it definitely can be better 😬
So I really tried to like this podcast … I’ve been listening to these two beautiful ladies for over a year now off and on (while listening to other podcasts). I love the content and the spooky stories and bite-size tales. I really love the fact that some of the places they talk about are actual visits to the locations. The flow of two hosts really downgrades the … let me explain: Laura does the history of the location, and Carrie will follow-up with the hauntings. The research is mediocre and scripted word-for-word with no flare. Carrie ALWAYS interrupts Laura at the most inappropriate times with sidebar talks or jokes (that Laura laughs at just to be nice —imo). It makes the stories awkward and boring to listen because majority of the time Carrie’s either telling stale jokes, focusing on something in the video of Laura (God forbid something is happening to herself 🙄 she won’t stop until Laura laugh or comment), or she’s just unorganized with notes, photos, or vids. This show is screaming for a producer to help them (Carrie) with maintaining a balance and smoothing out the fluidity of the talks. I doubt I will continue listening, but I will definitely stay subscribed because it’s free —why not. Good luck ladies! I wish you the greatest and best of luck!

More reviews of History of a Haunting
Carrie and Archie’s story telling and banter give this podcast equal parts scary and comedy. I feel like I’m sitting around a campfire with two good friends trading scary stories with facts and trivia, drinking a devilish glass of wine.
