Quite Enjoyable
Both relaxing and informative. I am still fascinated that when we speak about evolution, we seem to talk in terms of the organisms developing “in order to..” In other words, the brain needed to grow in order to... they developed these complex social skills in order to raise their children... I wonder if it would be more accurate to speak in terms of, at some point this happened, and so this followed. (Ex. At some point, this species managed to develop a tool that improved their hunting skills, and subsequently increased protein intake, which increased socialization, etc). So rather than assuming there is a purpose, the first assumption really is that this is just happening by circumstance. But that’s everywhere. Still love listening.

I am through all of the podcasts and cannot wait for the next one. Chris does a great job describing the the beginning of Homo sapiens and has definitely done his research. He presents a complicated subject in a very easy to understand manner.
