“Here’s the thing…..These guys know an INSANE amount of GOT-related history, but when attempting to make the story analogous to actual history, etc., they are almost always laughably inaccurate. Maybe more personal time dedicated to learning about real history and less dragons and magic, but I digress. It’s a show for GOT nerds, so it stands to reason it would lend itself to absurdity. The biggest problem (and why I had to stop following) is the frequency with which Aziz laughs at his own jokes. It’s insufferable. It comes off more as a nervous tick than a sincere appreciation of his own dopey musings, but it’s really uncomfortable to listen to.”
