“This started off like it was going to be good, non-biased journalism. The story was enthralling and was on its way to being a solid true crime story. But like many others the narrator’s opinions begin flooding in and you soon learn that this is nothing but an attack on the first amendment. Sure the judges ruled the way they did so it feels just plain factual, but in the end it’s a podcast about an “evil” podcast. Now that this podcast has “given people the confidence” to find and read a copy of Hitman I think it should be found guilty of any future murder-for-hire trial as an accomplice.
Update 4/18/2022 I finally got around to finishing this podcast and my opinion is still basically the same. Sure the investigation was thorough and presented well for the most part, but that’s the only good thing about it. Otherwise it’s just a bit piece on freedom of speech.
Take care when you think like this person does. The more and more limited you allow our speech to become, the more and more it can be used against you. One day soon all anti-constitution podcasts could be deemed hate speech and you’d be out of a job.”
