Need to write my thoughts
I’m astounded at the lack of responsibility taken by the owner of the publishing company that sold “Hit Man”. Esp. the quote to Times magazine about being no different to the car salesman who sells a vehicle that later runs someone down. Cars are not made by design to kill people - their purpose is transportation, you’d be hard pressed to find vehicles that are designed to kill human beings. Selling a book with instructions on how to do just that is like selling a weaponised car en masse. I’d rate this 5 stars but the ads are incredibly loud and frustrating to listen to. Normally I don’t mind them, esp. on channels like Wondery where I’ll just let them run, but this podcast just cranks the volume so loudly it’s anxiety provoking.

Unlike so many other true crime shows, this one doesn’t make me uncomfortable with extremes. The narrator seems much more respectful to the individuals she reports about for this podcast. Thank you.

I listened to the whole first episode but still don’t really know what this podcast is about. I kept rereading the description for the episode but it seems to have no real bearing on what they talk about???

Incredible and compassionate storytelling. A gripping and devastating crime that pushes us to think. So looking forward to the future episodes!
