Misinformation abounds
I tried to listen to one episode on adhd and in very short order the host proved that he had oversimplified and misunderstood the condition. He says there are studies to prove his nonsense but he never references what these studies are or under what conditions they were done, sample size or methodology. There was severe misinformation regarding diet and adhd and the age of children being given medications for adhd. Listen to a podcast interview with Dr Russell Barkley or Dr William Dodson not this guy. The Cochran review study he quotes specifically says the quality of the evidence is low and other studies are needed. And it shows that the medications were effective. So essentially he found a review of not great studies that he then he says those are a good reason for his nootropics. Wow.

I’ve been following bio hacking for years and this podcast is definitely a breath of fresh air! Erik truly brings a holistic approach to the space, which is often under emphasized. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to add a more foundational approach to healthy living.

Erik’s Approach is fabulous. He is articulate and well knowledgeable on the topic. He is affable and comes off with authority yet no arrogance. Great podcast I would recommend to anybody.
