#002 - Erik Aadahl almost closed the door on his sound editing career a few weeks into his first year at Stanford, but instead he transferred to USC, dropped his biology double major, and his mom finally forgave him when she got to be his date to the Oscars. Erik has worked on all seven Transformers movies, several Godzillas, and Law and Order: SVU. In this conversation, he talks about moving from a staff position to freelance, starting his own sound editorial company, and how he goes about creating sounds for the different Transformers.
