“I thought Doug was over the top with the number of times he says “by the way” before a new thought. Then enter Connolly on an episode and he exceeds Doug with the amount of times he prefaces a story with “by the way.” It becomes so distracting and annoying that you don’t even want to listen to their story.
The content and premise of the podcast is super interesting but the costars ALWAYS talk over each other or the podcast 101 rule, never cut the other person off, which they do constantly.”
