“I've been listening to Joe for a couple years and this podcast has really set a direction for my 'other' life. I'm a half-assed musician, but love hearing others play. Always wanted to be more involved and looking for a second career to slip into when I retire (hopefully) in less than 5 years.
This podcast has been perfect guidance, and the basic concepts of sound and engineering have helped in my newly elected (got volunteered!) position running the sound for our community concert association. He also has a good head on his shoulders and sense of humor without an over inflated ego.
I've bought most of his courses like 'Understanding EQ, Mixing, Recording Guitars,' etc. I do these at my own pace and am really getting a great understanding of work flow and the things that are not readily apparent in recording and mixing music. These courses are an amazing value - if you practice and take the time to follow thru. - Thanks Joe and keep up the good work.”
