Gaza
Some of the hosts want to do the right thing and support a ceasefire in Gaza. Others don’t. Israel is an apartheid state, its government is committing war crimes, crimes against humanity, and is projecting genocidal intent. Disappointing that a podcast that forefronts social issues when discussing football can fail to address or acknowledge the current situation, even though players and match-going supporters are making their feelings clear by bringing this crisis into the realm of our club. A quick review of the hosts Twitter feeds will illustrate the racist double standards at play here. A shame, as they are otherwise likeable and engaging. I appeal to the consciences of those involved ; please publicly comment support a ceasefire, there can be no humane reason not to.
