But this terrifying saga of the devastation caused by the psychotic, tribal behavior of human beings really occurred, in the United States, in 2020. And it is not a one-off.
By the end of this episode I was in tears of fury. Kudos to Bari Weiss for giving a voice to Mr. Wadi, an intelligent and humane spokesperson for the principles upon which the United States was founded, and which so-called social justice, in its infinite stupidity, is now attempting to destroy. Cancel culture exists on both the right and on the left, but the left is more organized and vociferous in its application, and has at its beck and call the mainstream media, academia, and corporations. Therefore, its reach is broader and its devastating effects more widespread.
But the term ”Cancel culture” doesn’t come close to describing the radioactive toxicity of this moment in our history. We ignore it at our peril. This is the purpose of Weiss’s new podcast. I’m disseminating it far and wide.”
