Honey, We Didn’t Need This Podcast
I listened to the first two episodes and I wish I could get that time back in my life. Nicole is unable to stay on topic and her vocal fry is so distracting it’s hard to take anything she says seriously. This could benefit from some serious editing (do we really need to hear about how Nicole has a tickle in her throat and thinks Caroline got her sick for 5 minutes in already a 1+ hour episode?!). An example of how they could improve: the episode about Caroline changing her name would have been better if instead of talking solely about how hard it is or why women don’t do it, walking us clearly through the steps of the process and how she did it. These two think they’re main characters who people want to hear talk “lit-tur-ruh-ly” like friends, when in reality they need some serious therapy around their post-wedding depression because they made their weddings their entire personality. The podcast industry is saturated and this is an example of why we do not need more podcasts.

I really like the idea of this podcast- the lack of structure, random jumping from one topic to another, and no real advice makes it hard to listen to. I would love if they had relevant guests who can give credible advice/input (not just more influencers) on each topic.

Unless this is satire it’s awful. Stereotypical rich girls making “like” sandwiches with their vocal fry.

I’ve never written a review of a podcast before but felt compelled after listening to the episode after Valentines Day. Having to listen to Caroline throwing a temper tantrum because her husband didn’t have the flowers wrapped and his gifts to her weren’t exactly what she expected was beyond...Read full review »
