“On the plus side, this is detailed enough to be interesting, but not that long winded that it becomes a chore. Also, the stories are varied and never too repetitive. BUT… the mispronunciations are shocking!! Foreign places are frequently butchered. Maybe understandable, but nothing that 10 seconds on Google couldn’t fix. But murder as murger? Holding an axe as holding an axed? The name Cromarty pronounced Cromarty one minute and Commertary next? Catholicism as Catholic-ism? The year 1612 as “sixteen twelved”? Very unprofessional.”
