Very good bar 2 flaws….
On the plus side, this is detailed enough to be interesting, but not that long winded that it becomes a chore. Also, the stories are varied and never too repetitive. BUT… the mispronunciations are shocking!! Foreign places are frequently butchered. Maybe understandable, but nothing that 10 seconds on Google couldn’t fix. But murder as murger? Holding an axe as holding an axed? The name Cromarty pronounced Cromarty one minute and Commertary next? Catholicism as Catholic-ism? The year 1612 as “sixteen twelved”? Very unprofessional.

More reviews of Horrifying History
I’ve never been a fan of horror movies, but I’ve always liked real life horror stories. This podcast tells a lot of those stories, and Brenda is a very good host. She deserves a 5 star review.

I’m very happy I found this podcast as It deals with topics I’m interested in. I like the fact that our host simply gives us a narration on the subject at hand instead of a ”panel” of hosts who talk over each other and make witty remarks that in reality are not. Thank you Brenda!
