My Favorite Haven
Hearing you talk about visiting the library as a child and becoming a lover of literature in your adolescence reminded me so much of my own origins of my appreciation for reading. It made me teary eyed hearing you describe it. I too remember the entrails of my own childhood library; the wooden train that i would sit in, the book filled shelves that you could swivel around, and the rocking chair I would soothe myself in. Falling in love with reading is one of the best things that ever happened to me, and it warms my heart to always hear others express the same in their own recounts. This is such a lovely podcast already, and I can’t wait to hear more <3 (I also told my friend about you and your hot literati teachings; following you is refreshing!)
