Successes and challenges
For starters, and to throw out a disclaimer, I very much like Doug and Jamie. I enjoy hearing their stories, both the joys and the heartbreaks. I think eventually their podcasts will be streamlined, further edited, and overall, just more “cleaned up”, only adding to its’ current success, but for now, as they just start out, here are a few comments about challenges for consideration. To avoid feeling attacked, my comments are general and not ascribed to a specific person, however one or all may be more relevant to one person more so than the other. •Both of you can be eloquent speakers who are mostly grammatically appropriate when attention is given to doing so. •Give courtesy to one another about allowing each other to finish thoughts or comments. •Avoid certain “filler” words or phrases, such as “like” and “you guys”. •Lastly, it has been widely regarded that in speaking and as related to our nonverbal communication, “it’s not WHAT one says but HOW one says it” so while the now infamous “poo story” is, in general, hilarious, giving more attention to the descriptors and verbiage could have eliminated some of the negative comments from listeners. Overall, I love you both and will continue to watch, listen, learn, and hope for your continued successes. Your independent journeys, back when Doug was just Doug and Jamie was just Jamie; when you each were just an “I” or a “me” and neither of you were yet part of an “us”; and the subsequent merger of said journeys, are heartwarming and very relatable. I cannot speak for all people or listeners, but those who say otherwise cannot tell me they haven’t dealt with any of the topics you’ve discussed and/or made public: relationships, parenting, physical & emotional issues, the real life stuff that happens to EVERYONE, but that EVERYONE does not make public. Again, none of my feedback should be misconstrued. I will continue to listen to and follow Doug, Jamie, & little Henley. Their IG pages will still be the first pages I visit in morning. In fact, personally, I love their openness regarding things or events that most people would never make public. I truly do feel like I’m more than just a fan. Keep it up you two! 🆒

I love the realness and rawness of Jamie and Doug. They don’t sugar coat things and they talk about real issues and their real feelings. I feel like they are my friends 😊

Sorry, pretty boring and tries to hard to be “relatable”.
