I hope it’s improved re: LGBTQ inclusion
I started listening from the beginning and was enjoying the openness to discussion and the diversity of guests that were invited. I imagine that this podcast has been helpful to many on their journey to better understanding their own sexuality and pleasure. However, I started to feel like the conversations weren’t entirely inclusive or knowledgable of LGBTQ experiences. I continued listening until Season 1 Episode 12 with Ian Fidance and Jes Tom. When the conversation about trans identities came up, I felt that there was a lot less listening than there should’ve been, and Jes was spoken over far more than their perspectives were invited. Despite voicing that their perspective differed from Remi and Ian’s, the discussion centred around Ian elaborating on his opinion rather than asking Jes to share more. Tran/NB perspectives should be heard first in conversations about trans/NB experiences, and I was disappointed by how little respect there seemed to be for Jes’s perspective. I sincerely hope the podcast has improved in it’s diversity and honouring of LGBTQ experiences.

Bow down at the feet of Char & Remy. These are two brilliant women with SUCH a great idea for a pod. I’ve been hooked since episode 1. I’ve learned so much. I’ve laughed so hard I’ve cried. It’s all been so educational and funny. 10/10 have literally recommended to all my friends.
