“As a big fan of Doughboys and video games, I’m very excited for this podcast and future episodes.
I will say that I was a bit disappointed by the content of the first episode, Sonic 06. I’m very familiar with the history of the series and character, so I was especially excited to hear the hosts’ thoughts on this game. The commentary is mostly focused on the contents of the game itself, which is fine, but it felt pretty superficial and mostly about making a lot of jokes about how bad the game is, which, yeah, everyone knows it’s bad. I was hoping for a little insight into the history of the game’s development or the context of its place in the rest of the series, or stuff like that. There was practically nothing like this. Not even a cute Wikipedia summary blurb at the beginning, a la Doughboys. Maybe try to get some guests who are familiar with the games or series you’re reviewing in the future.
All that said, I’ll keep listening and I’m excited for future episodes!”

“Haven’t listened to a single episode. But playing off of HDTGM’s popularity and title is so lazy. Your lack of title creativity has to be a peek at how terribly cliche your review on “bad” video games will be. This will last no more than a year.”
