Enlightening
Brooks is an excellent interviewer and facilitator. They cover a wide range of topics and provide an interesting set of insights. It’s really great when they have a guest that joins them to cover the subject matter, it adds a different dynamic and energy to the pod. Brooks is always authentic with his questions and comments, he’s a real a positive force for the show. I often feel enlightened by the topics covered. I’m a 36 yo female, married with no planned children and found the podcasts on fatherhood super interesting. Also the topic of intimacy with Julianne was so fascinating, it got my husband hooked on the podcast. Gavin appears uncomfortable at times with the subject matter, he often makes jokes that are insensitive, bordering homophobic and sexist. It’s unfortunate because when he shows vulnerability or is emotive about something, his perspectives are very eye-opening and relatable. All the other men come across as self-aware, authentic and kind. I find it amusing when Amy the producer chimes in with her (rather unfortunate) experiences with men, she has a lot of opposing thought and perspectives from these experiences she is seeking answers for. I feel like other women might share those types of experiences with less-than-amazing guys, however, the men on this pod aren’t those types of guys, nor would we want to hear from guys like that in any case. This is how real MEN think isn’t it? I find the men on this pod real and refreshing. Keep up the good work.

More reviews of How Men Think
It is a little like the podcast version of The View, but with all men. None of the banter makes sense to anyone not in the studio with them, and it feels a little like a waste of time.
