Ryan’s gotta go
Brooks is great but the guest host Ryan is an enormous whiner. He is a self absorbed irritating griper. I’ve got three kids—all boys who play hockey and are very active (and the reason I thought Brooks would be insightful). My oldest son has joined the Navy and the middle son has just been accepted into West Point. They are men’s men, so I chose to listen to this podcast to get a sense of what is going in my boys’ heads. When Ryan is on I just cringe. His comments about little girls recently was appalling. Probably not going to listen anymore because listening to that man ruins my day and discourages me that males can be understood. I’m not a hater, just being real (to quote Ryan’s own excuses for why his negativity is ok).

Sound balance is TERRIBLE. I know there are a lot of guys in the room and it’s a new podcast, but COME ON. Also, the joking about porn was a little unsettling. I know this is a guys podcast, but I would hope they’d be more aware of how dangerous/damaging porn is for both men and women. Not ready...Read full review »
