The best CPTSD podcast you will find - simply brilliant!
After a slew of run of the mill therapists, I have finally found an amazing therapist who is helping me unpack an incredible amount of childhood trauma. This podcast is like homework for me - almost every episode is chock full of nuggets of wisdom and insight. It completely blows my mind that this is free, I would honestly pay a subscription if I had to, in order to keep listening. Over the last 2 days since discovering this, I have listened to about 15 episodes and there were maybe 3 episodes that i skipped because they didn’t resonate. The guests are just amazingly articulate and have been through hell and back, so the sense of solidarity and strength I feel when listening is such a gift - if they survived I know I can. And the interviewer, I have no clue who this lady is but she is amazing. She asks the perfect questions, gives an infinite amount of space to let the guests speak and ties up loose ends so everything hangs together cohesively at conclusion. I simply cannot recommend this podcast highly enough. If you are new on this path I recommend reading Alice Millers “the Drama of The Gifted Child” as well as Martin Millers “The True Drama Of the Gifted Child”. Between those two books, you will learn more about childhood trauma than from a a library of books on CPTSD. I wish you love and healing.

Great podcast on a topic that is important to all but rarely considered by most. Everyone was raised by someone. The impact reverberates forever. I appreciate Dawn’s thoughtful, unhurried way of creating space for her guests. Thank you, Dawn.
