“I was familiar with most of the ideas here, having read Naomi Orestes’ book Merchants of Doubt and Jane Mayer’s Dark Money. But this rather dramatically produced podcast supplements the story with great - sometimes astonishing - interviews with influential figures through the years. Pomarentsev is a trustworthy journalist and compelling host. I’ve just finished listening to it all and there are surprises at the end. I would say however that it finishes the story too soon. The influence of the Koch brothers even on university campuses today is getting greater, with more ‘Centers’, fellowships and think tanks being financed.”
