A note regarding trying to save a merit at all costs
So far, I have found the information in this podcast to be irresponsible and potentially damaging. Not all relationships are meant to be saved. There should be as much education about signs of abuse and personality disorders as there is therapeutic approaches to save a marriage. Not all marriages are meant to be saved nor should they be saved. In fact, many marriages containing infidelity and betrayal are often full of gaslighting, triangulating, manipulation, and blame-shifting. As anyone who has experienced relationship betrayal can attest to, it can be some of the most painful experiences of our lives, and the worst thing that could happen is that they do everything they can to save the marriage only to realize years later that they are in a relationship with a narcissist or some other personality disordered person.
