“The best thing that has happened to this show recently is the absence of Kate. The addition of genuinely funny talent like Hamish, Peter (Helliar), Ed and Meshel has made this show great listening. I stuck with it while Kate was there, but her endless juvenile interjections were beyond irritating (“Your wife called...”), as were her frequent lapses into unconvincing accents. Looking forward to the next six months, but I think I’ll have to give it a miss after that. So many other great podcasts to choose from—no need to listen to Kate’s drivel. It’s a shame, because Kate is very clever and witty when she’s not trying so hard to work blue.”
