What’s hereditary is that the diet that you're eating is the same thing that your parents ate. The foods that were introduced to you as a child you are now continuing to eat those things and you're feeding it to your children.” [09:30] “Love yourself enough to do the research.” [10:55] “Then during this journey, I learned about parasites which were omitted at first from a lot of these health conversations…parasites are not being talked about.” [14:38] “I put a lot of energy into what I was eating to the point that I noticed that it was my attitude that wasn't exactly where I would like it to be.” [25:18]  “Beans are really important…beans are a superfood.” [35:54] “In my culture, we have something called Ogeri. Which is a fermented seed pumpkin seed that we add to our soup and it gives us fresh bacteria that our body constantly needs.” [37:27] “You as an individual need to understand your body. You need to study for yourself and never put your life in the hands of anybody else.” [42:28] “We as a people need to start accepting that something can be good for us and we will take it because it's good for us.
