I'm getting real about the number 40. By the time you listen to this I will be 40 and I want you to know that I subconsciously feel the stigmas around women aging… same as you. We have these measurements for success that are dumb. They're not ours, they didn't come from us, yet we feel super s****y when we don't have certain things by a certain age. I felt soooo s****y at my 36th Birthday because I was at an all time low in every area of my life. I beat myself up because I should have kids, I should have a white picket fence, I should be prettier, blah blah blah. We have so many weird stories in our subconscious that we don't even know about until we get into a new situation and actually experience it. It's called growing! It's so inspiring. It's what every Bad Ass woman living her best life does. What's not awesome is staying in the same damn place, making the same damn mistakes, never shining a light on your subconscious bull shit.
