Perfect Timing
I first head of ‘I Am’ during Jonny’s recent conversation with Dr Chatterjee on ‘Feel Better, Live More’ and decided to listen to his first episode with Rupert Spira. I’m a teacher and I’ve recently decided to resign after almost 20 years service and I’m finding it a lot to process, but during both of these podcasts I was staggered at just how much resonated with my current experience and I felt like I’d been to a therapy session. Using change as a chance to tap into your essential self, the layers of clothing, having courage to lean into “lack of” and seeing the unknown as an opportunity…I actually cried at a couple of points because it felt like someone was able to verbalise everything I was trying to make sense of… I think because I was able to see similarities with the sporting context, which helped me to frame/reframe my own experience. A few days ago I’d never heard of this podcast but I am so grateful I’ve found it and for the clarity it’s given me, I’ve downloaded the other episodes and I’m very much looking forward to listening to them all! Highly recommend!
