“The podcast still delivers what it promises—a calm voice reading boring stories. However, whereas in the past Mr. Boster would read the ads/sponsor messages himself, now the podcast begins with a series prerecorded advertisements with loud music, loud announcers —just plain loud. The perfect thing to jolt you wide awake…and defeat the purpose for tuning into the podcast. I completely understand the need for advertising. And appreciate that they make the podcast available. But Mr. Boster and the media company should do a better job of matching the tone/style of the advertisements to the environment. Unfortunately, I’ll have to find a new way to get to sleep.”
