Mother-daughter listening
My teen daughter and I listened on a road trip—we loved hearing the mother and daughter narrators grappling with their shared history and collaborating together on this excellent podcast. We are captivated by the politics, the music scene, the accomplishments and mystery of Marsha “Mudd” Ferber’s life. More than “true crime,” it’s also a portrait of a group of people seeking meaningful alternatives to mainstream American culture...the shadow side and the light…the story captures the slippery slope of drug use and the very deep yearnings of people to go “Back to the Land…” Highly recommend!
