It’s like if Jerry Springer had a money podcast, but with more ads
This show is weird. I think the show has too many ads to make listening enjoyable. That would be the main easy thing to fix which would improve the quality of the show overall. But substantively, the show is a weird mix of if Jerry Springer had a money podcast and some good financial advice. Part of this podcast feeds off the listener thinking “well at least my life isn’t that bad!” and the host gives very little advice at times to people who really need help. Also the host fails to distinguish that maybe different people need different financial strategies that work for them. That being said, the host gives some good general advice, such as having a financial advisor paid on funds under management is a total waste of money. But it’s weird broadcasting people’s personal issues for the world to see (the same way Jerry Springer gave “free” advice). It seems unintentionally predatory.

It’s a great toe-dip into the approach of what it means to obtain a rich life by using money as a tool rather than a survival tactic. I’m surprised there isn’t a...Read full review »
