Trying too hard to be zany
I was a big fan of Ian on the radio but this podcast is a bit awful! Hugely overproduced, desperate for laughs and mostly dull guest appearances. I wish Ian would slow the pace down and get into some interesting topics, whether it be the big issues or life's trivial minutiae. Every millisecond of these podcasts is filled with noise and 'craziness' and I wish it felt a bit more natural and took some breaths. There seems to be an obsession with 'format' and features here - Ian's surely smart enough to wing it a bit more and just let things flow more organically. Sideshow Kev is just annoying - making obvious jokes and remarks - very poor! Get a decent sidekick - someone smart and funny - and let's have the podcast this should be.

More reviews of Ian Collins Wants A Word
Just a short review to say how much I enjoy the Podcasts, they are so funny and always put a smile on my face. Love the banter between Ian and Kev. Looking forward to more episodes.

He's on Twitter too @iancollinsuk comes out with some...Read full review »
