Robert Christophor Coppes, a former president of IANDS Netherlands, lives in Amsterdam. His conviction that NDEs are true spiritual experiences began with Raymond Moody's book, "Life After Life", and Coppes' own latest work, "Impressions of Near-Death Experiences," quotes a broad range of NDEr insights. Coppes is also the author of "The Essence of Religions: A Glimpse of Heaven in the Near-Death Experience."
