Stopped dead in my tracks, had to write my first podcast review ever
It’s not uncommon for me to have an “aha” moment while listening to Sophie and Adi, but while walking and listening to the latest episode (Going Deep from Oct 28), I stopped dead in my tracks on more than one occasion - my mind was blown and I needed to rewind to let certain points sink in. A lot of the rhetoric in the wellness world centers on having compassion for yourself, but this episode made me realize that I had taken that too concept too far. In the spirit of being compassionate with myself, I had stopped pushing myself out of my comfort zone, allowing myself to to take the lazy, easy path and then having compassion for my choice to stay comfortable. I listen to a lot of podcasts and have never written a review or gone back to read the show notes until now - this podcast activated me (to use Sophie’s word) to dig deeper into the concept of stretching and how I can apply it to different areas of my life. The metaphor of kindling the fire really resonated with me on so many levels. I love IGNTD and Sophie and Adi for always serving up realness. Thanks guys! PS some of the topics from that particular episode reminded me of the book Stretch by Scott Sonenschein - I would recommend it to Sophie and Adi and anyone else looking for real world examples and research around this idea of “stretchiness”.

I have been following Sophie for a while and love her positive energy and I can relate to a lot of circumstances they’ve experienced as I have several struggling addicts in my family. It’s refreshing that they are bringing...Read full review »
