Description
In the next hour we’ll be exploring the exciting world of ultralight backpacking, in the wilderness, or with any nomadic travel. The average trekker is carrying 30 – 50 pounds for a few days in the outdoors, but today’s guest and master backpacker, Tim Gnazale, shares his expertise in substantially reducing that weight, as well as stress to the body and mind. He goes one to one beside a traditional equipment standard, yet carries a mere 7–17 pounds over 2–7 days, safely and with comfort. Tim will also dispel historical misconceptions about ultralight backpacking. His paradigm extends to whitewater adventure, bicycle touring and emergency preparedness.
