In 2004 he began a long relationship with Tom Petty, recording, mixing and co-producing several albums. Starting in 2020 Ryan began remixing albums from the Petty catalogue in Dolby Atmos, including Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Greatest Hits. Ryan talks about his long-standing career in the music industry, his recently released Grammy-nominated immersive solo album Act-3, and we talk about music mixing in Dolby Atmos.
