Further, they discuss the impact of the Protocol on Bigtech's anti-competitive practices in Africa; gatekeeper provisions in the Protocol and regulation of online platforms. Lastly, they conclude that this Protocol will significantly enhance the seat of Africa at the world table during antitrust negotiations.
