Good content, could use a better host.
Couldn’t agree more with another review I read. Melvin Bragg interrupts his guests far too often. They are knowledgeable and passionate people, I wish I could get an unabridged version of their commentary. Despite the problematic host, you can still learn quite a bit. Not the most accessible of teachings, some professional language abounds, but you can glean enough info to walk away a bit smarter.

The topics and guests are wonderful, but why does Melwin so often Interrupt the guests midstream?

I am often listening to the In Our Time: Science, and History episodes, so was very excited when I came across this series today. Another superb series BBC 👌

The men on this show have a tendency to interrupt and speak over the women guest. Perhaps learn to learn exercise some common courtesy instead of perpetuating the narrow white male perspective prevalent in academia.
