At long last you may finally have your baby from any number of possible paths. Your child may have been conceived via an egg or sperm donor or from a surrogate. Then one day you may want to tell your child how he or she was conceived. Today we will speak with Dr. Nancy Freeman-Carroll about how you might share that important information. Dr. Freeman-Carroll is a supervising analyst at the William Alanson White Institute and an active member of the Mental Health Professionals Group of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. She is in private practice in Manhattan. She does infertility counseling. She also does egg and sperm donor evaluations, counseling for gestational surrogacy and consultations about how to talk with your child about his or her creation.
