“It’s fine. The production value and acting is nice. The singing isn’t bad or anything, and it seems the story is probably good, but musical/documentary is just not a format that works for me. The whole point of documentary format in fiction is that it adds a layer of realism. We’re exploring an ostensibly true event. But not as a musical... that just doesn’t make sense.”
