“This team continues to be THE Gold Standard when it comes to this type of reporting/podcasting. The level of research, and the sheer tenacity they maintain throughout every aspect of their stories(can’t find an interview subject? they’ll search for a full year, until they find him via tracking down his distant relatives and then working their way closer to him person by person! can’t find a document? they’ll put on gas -okay not gas, more like painters- masks and literally search through every record the county’s basically dumped in an abandoned plastics factory! and those are just two examples, the list goes on and on...)
I literally can’t say enough good things. Not only are they obsessive in all the right ways but their work has actually furthered the case itself, in real time, in a way VERY few other podcasts have.
Let’s just end it with this: ‘Serial’? COULD NEVER.
