Interesting but odd narrative (Season 1 review)
Very interesting case I wasn’t aware of. The reporter prepares you in the beginning for an anti law enforcement slant but narrows focus to the sheriff in charge of the case but broadens in the conclusion to encompass all sheriffs departments. Also, very odd to do an entire episode with a pro sex offender take. 5 episodes of how terrible this sexual assault was and then an episode of “some sex offenders are not bad”. If you can ignore the biases (I did because the story is good) I recommend the podcast; if not, move on.

Finally a podcast that's as good as Serial. Love Madeleine Baran and very well produced. Highly recommended!Read full review »

This podcast has me hooked after three episodes. It's similar to the first season of Serial, so if you enjoyed that, you will love this.Read full review »
