Stopped me in my tracks
I was listening to series 1 regarding the Curtis flowers case , another example of a man spending time in prison without any real evidence . What shocked me was the striking of the black jurors and the district attorney keeping control on a case that was clearly personal to him. But. But I was stunned by the next series uncovering the case further and ultimately reporting his release after 23years . It was tragic how the overt bullying to the witnesses and the lack of follow up in other suspects led to a man spending all this time in jail and not being able to go to his mothers funeral . So shocking this goes on in a state that delivers the death penalty . I am so lucky to live in the Uk without much prejudice that’s why I am making a payment to support these brilliant podcast reporters , much respect to this team of determined and empathic journalists.

The story of Jacob W. Is a sad story but yet I need to know what happens every episode. Definitely a great true crime podcast.
