Grossly biased and misleading
The narrator very clearly has an axe to grind. While I can’t claim to be a lawyer, I know some law, and the narrator often breathlessly recounts legal details as if they are massive indictments of police behavior, when in fact they are par for the course. The narrator also engages in a lot of innuendo, for instance, recounting that the DA was in high school when Mississippi was forced to desegregate its schools. That’s all — he’s elderly, and grew up in small town Mississippi, from which the narrator implies he’s a racist. Maybe his IS a racist, but simply stating his age and location isn’t enough, ironically, for a show about the burden of proof. I had high hopes for this podcast — obviously something is wrong when a man spend twenty years in prison, and gets tried for the same crime six times — but I just don’t trust this reporter to do it. She obviously hates officers of the law. Again, it’s a podcast about justice. It’s ironic she’s not particularly judicious in her approach.

I have been listening intently until episode 3 and for some reason it abruptly cuts off halfway through the audio☹️ wish I knew what I missed!
