The format of In The Thick challenges us to rethink what we know about African-American and Latinx voices. It is the podcast that is a lens to our near future - the year 2040 - when the minority majority must include these voices on the margin - especially in mainstream media where too few of us are represented.

They provide such an important perspective, which I feel often gets lost in our current national political discourse.
