Since being introduced to music through piano lessons at the age of 6, 5PiECE always had an immense passion for music and its technical aspects. His affinity for music led him to the Metalworks Institute of Sound & Music Production, where he learned the fundamental skills that he’s built on and still uses today. 5PiECE had the opportunity to intern and mentor under Grammy Award winning producer and engineer, Noah “40” Shebib (Drake, Beyonce, Alicia Keys) while also helping out around OVO’s private recording studio, SOTA Studios. During this time, he was able to expand his network and learn from one of the best minds in music today.5PiECE has held house engineering positions at several full-scale recording studios across Toronto, working on many sessions and offering his taste and expertise in studio recording, mixing, mastering, songwriting and production. He has worked with hundreds of artists, singers and producers, including Sean Paul, MurdaBeatz, Pressa, MDNTOKYO, 24HRS, and many more.
