Important topic, but poor delivery
I think this issue is so important these days and I appreciate that there is a podcast showing a compassionate and deep dive into this community. That said, I think that the journalist lacks confidence to make any bold statements and lets the interviewees steer the topic too off course. She is too deferential and seems unsure of her words to the point of nervous laughing after responding. She has a good narrative voice and is professional in her questioning, but has lots of room for improvement in the editing and flow of the interviews. The second episode with the drugcel was terrible. Why would you fill up nearly an hour with an interview with someone who is admittedly high and clearly incoherent?! The episode with sergeant incel was a much better subject, but still lacking direction and didn’t have any provocative questions. They just end up agreeing a lot with each other instead of building on top of each other’s ideas or having a debate which does not make for a thought provoking podcast.

The interviews are way too long, and most of them contain no relevant information but rather the interviewers long winded responses/opinions. The audio is also horrible, it’s really hard to understand the people who are...Read full review »

Kudos to you for approaching this controversial subject. If people were more open and honest they wouldn’t be so judgmental. As with other touchy subjects, often people’s solution or comments are super negative and are just throw away the key. Sorry but that really bothers me. Do you...Read full review »
