Difficult topic handled with care
I applaud the host for taking on this difficult topic. I think many of the criticisms are generally biases toward the INCEL community rather than a criticism of the podcast itself. Yes, audio could be better, but episode one of most podcasts that are not professionally produced have audio issues that get ironed out. And this drive-thru/fast food need of ours to cut up interviews into bite-sized hunks that provide some “gotcha” or “aha” moment is a bit gross. She’s a human talking to other humans about a community that very well could be generally misunderstood. You don’t have to be harsh to ask tough questions and I think that’s what some listeners are disappointed by: her empathy and clear desire to understand rather than judge. Those are the qualities that draw me to this podcast.
