“I respect the effort of bringing new music to the table every week and I'm fully aware of how difficult it is to please 100% of the people, 100% of the time. It basically comes down to the person picking the tunes having the same tastes as you. That being said, this station constantly disappoints. While I have discovered new bands on here, those discoveries are few and far between. I dont know, maybe it's a reflection of the current state of the music industry but the vast majority of the stuff on here is music you crymax to; music for people who don't want to truly rock. I'll give you an example: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and The Black Keys are two bands that freakin' rock.....Good guitar, hook-laden choruses. Only 1 of every 25 songs presented has any balls on this station. It used to be that alternative rock was stuff like The Toadies, Pearl Jam, RHCP, My Bloody Valentine, Afghan Whigs, etc. I get excited when I hear "this next song is absolutely amazing.." and then I get an earful of wuss rock. Not cool, brosef.”
