Superb
This is a superb podcast. It's delivered very regularly, and features a single piece read at a live session, so you get to hear the audience reaction to it. This is not way-out-there or hard to listen to, rather it's accessible and thought-provoking. As well as the reading, you get given quite a bit of info about the poet, what they’re working on and how to find out more about them. It’s a very inclusive podcast. I’m a new listener to poetry (and I don’t read any), and yet I don’t feel like I’m an outsider. There’s no in-jokes, obscure references, or any feeling that you have to be a certain type of person to listen to this podcast. The presenter doesn’t talk down to the listeners, and he’s obviously enthusiastic and excited about the work that’s being performed. If you’re even slightly curious about poetry then give this podcast a chance. I first listened out of curiosity, and now I’m hooked.

I think and know that this podcast is one of the best ideas for a podcast. The different poets featured on here are always great and it is so nice to get my daily dose of performance poetry. This is what helps me write.. hearing talented people. KEEP it going!
